PHOTO CONTEST
The Vermont Wildflower Farm Photo Contest competition is open to ALL photographers at least 13 years of age, except
employees of the Vermont Wildflower Farm and their immediate families. Your entry to the contest constitutes your
agreement to allow your photographs — and your name, city and state of residence — to be published on the Vermont
Wildflower Farm Website (www.vermontwildflowerfarm.com); published or used on websites owned by the Vermont
Wildflower Farm; and used for promotions of the VWF including, but not limited to, exhibitions, a photo contest calendar, a
compilation book or electronic collection of photographs, online photo features and contests, brochures, catalogs etc. By
entering the contest you agree to allow the Vermont WIldflower Farm to use your photographs in the above manner should
we choose to do so. The Vermont Wildflower Farm shall have the right to verify, in their sole judgment, winner eligibility.

We are looking for striking images that have been taken either at the Vermont Wildflower Farm or from gardens or flowers
grown from seed purchased from the Vermont Wildflower Farm. We prefer unique photographs of wildflowers. Shots of
gardens or groups of flowers are preferred. People, animals, insects, birds etc. are acceptable to include in your flower
photos. We encourage it. The more unique the photo the better. Entrants must not infringe on the rights of any other
photographer or person or submit images that involve the willful harassment of wildlife or damage to the environment by the
photographer. Photos that have been digitally altered will be disqualified.
Deadline for submitting entries is September 30th, 2008 at 6:00 pm. Entries should be e-mailed digitally in low resolution
jpeg files. All photographs entered must be full color. Winners will be notified on or before October 15th, 2008. There is no
limit on the number of entries per person. ENTRIES MUST BE FROM VERMONT WILDFLOWER SEED OR TAKEN AT THE
VERMONT WILDFLOWER FARM!
Prizes to be awarded:
Grand Prize: - $500 Gift Certificate to the Vermont Wildflower Farm
Runner Up - $150 Gift Certificate to the Vermont Wildflower Farm
4 Prizes for Honorable Mention: - $$50 Gift Certificate and National Audubon Society's Field Guide to Wildflowers each
