Bottlebrush Grass - Elymus hystrix - This is a woodland species used for soil stabilization and it provides food and cover for wildlife. A cool season bunch grass that grows 2-5' tall; shade tolerant; blooms from June to August. A decorative bottlebrush-like seed head which have spikes 4" long make this very attractive. Seed heads produce small grain seeds and this grass has year round foliage.

Seeding Rate: 20-30lbs. per acre. If mixing with wildflowers use 25% of this grass seed to 75% wildflower seed.
