Drummond Phlox – Phlox drummondii An annual phlox that blooms throughout spring and summer, and may last into fall in warm climates if faded flowers are removed regularly. A Texas native which adapts well to hot, humid climates and has plants that grow up to 18 inches tall. The tight clusters of flowers bloom in a wide range of reds. Drummond phlox is easily grown from seeds or bedding plants and requires little care. It prefers a light or sandy soil and full sun.
