Acts as an annual or a short lived perennial and grows 3 to 6 feet tall. It has attractive and showy flowers which are produced in long, slender spikes. It has long, clawed stamens which adds a fascinating feature to the flowering display as they protrude well past the petals. The plant habit and flowering nature make this plant best suited for a wild area or butterfly garden. Sun – Partial Shade. Up to 6ft. tall and blooms July – September.
