Morning Glory – Ipomoea purpurea
Because of their fast growth, twining habit, attractive flowers, and tolerance for poor, dry soils, some morning glories are excellent vines for creating summer shade on building walls when trellised. Beautiful blue to purple flowers they make a stunning climber. Hummingbirds, butterflies and bees seem to adore them. They close up towards the end of the day to invite new blooms the next!
