BLUETS - Houstonia longifolia (Seeds per Packet: 50+) This Houstonia is an herbaceous perennial wildflower. It only grows in height to about 6". Due to the fact that is is short, it doesn't compete well with taller more aggressive plants. The plants prefer full sun to partial sun & will grow in a variety of soils including poor soils. They bloom in June – July with dainty pale white, pink or blue flowers. This longleaf version of bluets is fairly rabbit resistant and is usually not touched or eaten by small animals. The flowers are pollinated by small bees and others. Average height is 4"-6".
